Background
Shigeru was he younger son of Okumichi no kami Kiyori. Kiyori learned through his own visions that Shigeru would be the member of his generation of the Okumichi who would be cursed with prophecy.
Appearances
In 1860, Shigeru poisoned his father after learning the Kiyori was conversing with a "ghoul" who had been dead for 500 years. He resolved to also kill his nephew Genji and end the Okumichi blood line.
